Born and grown up in Chatine, a village in the Batroun district, North Lebanon, where he developed his love for nature and sports.

Joined the Lebanese Military Academy as a Cadet Officer at the age of 22.

He fought militias during both military and security-keeping operations on the fronts of Souk El-Ghareb, Beirut and Dbayeh.

He participated in various international military trainings in France such as the ranger Instructor Training

He obtained a Bachelor Degree in Political Sciences from the Lebanese University followed by a Master's Degree in the same field.

Acknowledging the importance of self-improvement, Roukoz enrolled in the Command and Staff College in Lebanon.

He pursued another degree in History at the Lebanese University.

Attended the War College Training at CESEDEN Spain, the Superior Center for National Defense Studies. He participated in numerous international military and security conferences and workshops in USA, Jordan, Denmark, Switzerland and UAE.

He eradicated armed terrorist groups in Nahr El Bared in the North.

Consecutively promoted to become Brigadier General in 2010 and the Commander of the Rangers Regiment.

Proved his outstanding courage in extremely fierce battles and eradicated an armed terrorist organization in Abra and Ersal region

Based on his accomplishments in these extremely violent battles, he was awarded a 1-year seniority for each battle.

The Brigadier General retired from the military services and got promoted to the rank of "Citizen"

Today

Roukoz heads into the political life with the same principles he lived by in the Army: patriotism, loyalty, transparency, freedom, equality and tolerance.

As of 2018 Roukoz is a member of parliament for Kesrouan-el ftouh, Jbeil district.

Roukoz invested his love for nature and sports by organizing the "Raid des Cedres" and "Barracks to Barracks" for seven consecutive years where Lebanese and foreign civilians participated in races and hikes with the Lebanese Army Rangers Regiment, encouraging the interaction and communication between civilians and the military.
